LESSON POLICIES

The following policies help keep scheduling, lessons, and communication running smoothly.
1. Booking & Payment
Lessons must be scheduled in advance. Payment may be collected online at the time of booking or arranged directly with the instructor.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice in required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Late cancellations may be charged in full. No-shows are non-refundable.
If a lesson needs to be canceled or rescheduled by the instructor due to illness, emergency, or technical issues, a reschedule or lesson credit will be offered.
3. Refund Policy
All lesson purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Exceptions may be made at the instructor’s sole discretion.
4. Late Arrivals
If a student arrives or joins late, the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time.
5. Online Lessons
Students are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a functioning device/audio setup for online lessons.
Technical issues outside the instructor’s control may occasionally affect lesson quality or connectivity.
6. Lesson Conduct & Expectations
Students are expected to
Arrive on time and prepared
Maintain respectful and appropriate behavior
Follow reasonable instruction during lessons
Lessons or services may be refused or discontinued if behavior is disruptive, abusive, or unsafe.
7. Student Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
Participation in music instruction involves certain inherent risks, including possible physical strain or repetitive stress injuries.
Students participate at their own risk and are responsible for using appropriate technique, safe listening volume, and maintaining a sage practice environment and equipment setup.
Students should stop immediately if they experience pain or discomfort and seek medical advice, if needed.
8. Lesson Recordings
Lessons may occasionally be recorded for instructional or practice purposes with the student’s permission. These recordings are intended to help students review material and track progress.
9. Parent/Guardian Responsibility (for Minors)
A parent or legal guardian is responsible for reviewing and agreeing to these policies on behalf of any student under 18 years of age.
